Connex Education is a well-established recruitment organisation supporting schools across the Greater Manchester region in their search for committed and outstanding employees.

We are working with multiple schools across Greater Manchester in need of confident and outgoing Cover Supervisors who can cover whole classes in the absence of a teacher. The successful candidate will manage between 25 - 30 students and bridge the gap until the staff member returns, on a short-term basis.

Skills required for a Cover Supervisor in Greater Manchester include:

• Must be aged 21 or above
• Hold a degree or equivalent in any specialist subject
• Ability to effectively manage large groups of children
• Experience working with children and/or vulnerable adults
• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures (training provided)
• Engaging, confident, professional, reliable, and punctual
• Adaptable and able to handle a hectic day
• Availability from 8.30am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday, for 3 or more days a week (term time only)

Successful candidates will undergo an interview and vetting process, including an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS. If you do not have one, Connex Education can assist in obtaining it at a cost of £58.
