Overview

Salary: £14.94 per hour

Hours: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, working on a 4 on/4 off rota

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Forklift Counterbalance Driver to join our busy food manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be skilled in operating forklifts safely and efficiently, with a strong focus on maintaining high standards of health and safety. This is potentially a Temp-to-Perm (T2P) role for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to move raw materials and finished products around the warehouse/factory
• Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently
• Maintain accurate records of stock movements
• Adhere to all health & safety procedures and food hygiene standards
• Support team members to ensure smooth production flow

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a forklift driver, preferably in a manufacturing or food environment, with a minimum of 2 recent years using a forklift counterbalance licence
• Relevant forklift certification (counterbalance, reach truck, or similar)
• Strong understanding of health & safety regulations
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
