Qualifications

  • Current APC with NZAC, DAPAANZ, SWRB or NZCCA is required.
  • Ability to deliver counselling services via in-person, video, and telehealth.

This is a full-time permanent role and requires Saturday availability, ensuring consistent service and operations throughout the week.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver focused interventions so that clients ace coping mechanisms at work and life
  • Visit worksites to provide support after an event disruption
  • Deliver counselling services via in-person, video and telehealth
  • Deliver training to customer employees

The Ideal Candidate
  • A strong sense of others – we’re looking for sensitivity and empathy as traits
  • Current APC with NZAC, DAPAANZ, SWRB or NZCCA
  • Tertiary level 7 Counselling or related qualification and a minimum of five years of post-study experience in general counselling is required.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based therapy models e.g. SFT, CBT, FACT is desirable
  • Can work independently and attend on-sites for psychological first aid.
  • Experience in trauma intervention, psychological first-aid
