  • Establish and embed a robust business partnering model that supports service delivery and strategic decision‑making.
  • Drive improvements in financial governance, performance management, and accountability frameworks.
  • Provide expert advice to senior leaders, elected members, and stakeholders on complex financial matters.
  • Deputise for the Director in respect of Section 151 responsibilities.
What We're Looking For
  • CCAB‑qualified finance leader (or demonstrable equivalent experience).
  • Successful track record in senior finance roles within complex organisations, ideally in local government.
  • Experience of leading transformation and embedding new ways of working.
  • Collaborative, proactive leadership style that inspires teams and builds trust across the organisation.
  • Strong analytical skills and a commitment to high standards of governance and public service.
  • Passion for digital innovation and continuous improvement.
