We’re working with a lovely private household in St Johns Wood who are looking for a warm reliable Cook / Housekeeper to support an elderly couple in their home. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in creating a calm well‑managed household and enjoys preparing simple wholesome meals.

You’ll be wondering what’s in it for you as the Cook / Housekeeper.

• £40,000 per annum
• Working 5 days a week 1pm to 7pm (Monday to Friday OR Wednesday to Sunday)
• Consistent afternoon working hours
• A stable long‑term position in a respectful household

Responsibilities

You’ll be responsible for helping the couple maintain a comfortable home and ensuring meals are freshly prepared and tailored to their dietary needs. Duties include:

• Cooking healthy home‑style meals
• General housekeeping and laundry
• Keeping the home organised, clean and welcoming
• Supporting the couple with day‑to‑day household needs

Qualifications & Fit

You’ll be a great fit if you:

• Have experience working within a private household or similar setting
• Are confident cooking fresh balanced meals
• Have excellent standards of cleanliness and organisation
• Strong spoken English
• Have a kind, patient and discreet approach
• Are available to start as soon as possible
