This is an exciting opportunity to join our public health team in Herefordshire. We are a small, well-established team in an organization that values public health and prevention.
As one of the Council’s senior leaders, your role will involve leading across adult Health Improvement and Healthcare Public Health, including smoking, NHS Health Checks, neighbourhood health, and other priority program areas. The rurality of Herefordshire, combined with its small city and market towns, presents unique challenges in commissioning and service delivery.
The Council is committed to strengths-based approaches, community engagement, tackling inequalities, and personal development. We have strong links with our Integrated Care System and our One Herefordshire Partnership, providing place-based leadership across the county.
The role offers flexible working options, including part-time hours (30 hours/week), and is suitable for either a newly qualified or experienced Consultant.
