Summary

Due to retirement, we are seeking to recruit 2 Consultant Anaesthetists to join our anaesthesia team. We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic individuals with an interest in working at a friendly DGH. Sessions will be offered at the Royal Derby site. We are a large department with around 200 doctors, delivering a comprehensive anaesthetic service for University Hospitals of Derby and Burton and surrounding areas, providing varied and fulfilling careers. We are a motivated and supportive group and were one of the first departments to achieve RCOA accreditation (ACSA), demonstrating our dedication to providing outstanding quality of care and enthusiasm for national projects.

UHDB is one of only 7 Trusts nationally with more than 50 operating theatres, having undertaken almost 33,700 planned surgical operations across 57 theatres last year. We carry out more than 140 elective procedures each working day across a wide variety of surgical specialities.
