Construction Tutor (one day per week) – Join Remedy Education and work with learners from Entry Level to Level 2 to deliver practical and theory‑based construction training.

About the Role

As a Construction Tutor you will deliver engaging, hands‑on construction sessions, support learners' practical skills and underpinning knowledge, ensure course content meets current industry and safety standards, provide academic and pastoral support as needed, and contribute to a positive workshop/classroom environment.

You don't need years of teaching experience – the college welcomes qualified lecturers and skilled tradespeople looking to step into teaching.

Key qualifications and attributes:

  • Strong experience in construction, site safety, or CSCS‑related work
  • Good understanding of health & safety regulations and best practice
  • Confidence working with learners of varied backgrounds and abilities
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one
