Qualifications

  • Eligibility to work in the UK and willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.

About the Role

We are working with a leading further education provider seeking a Multi-Skills Technician to join their construction department.

You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of workshops and supporting practical sessions in areas such as brickwork, carpentry, plumbing, and multi-skills construction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support lecturers and students during practical workshops
  • Prepare, manage, and maintain tools, equipment, and materials
  • Ensure a safe and efficient learning environment at all times
  • Monitor stock levels and order workshop resources as required
  • Provide practical assistance to students under the supervision of teaching staff
Candidate Requirements
  • Practical skills or experience in construction trades (e.g., brickwork, carpentry, plumbing, general maintenance)
  • Good organisational and communication skills with a flexible, proactive attitude
  • Experience in a workshop, training, or educational environment (desirable but not essential)
  • A commitment to health & safety and safeguarding procedures
  • Eligibility to work in the UK and willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
