Job description

We're looking for a Construction Management Degree Apprentice to join our Construction team based in Sheffield. You will be working towards a Level 6 apprenticeship in Construction Management. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading construction and infrastructure services company on an apprenticeship. Whilst working towards a recognised qualification, you'll be able to put your learnings into practice in your day‑to‑day role, helping you progress within your chosen career.

Location: Sheffield

Hours: 40hrs per week

Salary: £22,000 - with salary earning potential of £35k+ upon completion of the course!

Start date: September 2026

How does a degree apprenticeship work?

As a Construction Management Degree Apprentice, you'll have the opportunity to gain practical experience whilst you study towards a BSc Construction Site Management with our university partner, Sheffield Hallam, all tuition, and accommodation fees covered by us.

Your day‑to‑day will include:
  • Assisting in the responsibility of a project section or work package where you'll manage the on‑site health, safety, and quality.
  • Working alongside the wider construction teams and report on the progress of any projects, whilst also liaising with third parties such as councils, utilities, and sub‑contractors.
  • Attending university during pre‑determined block weeks to attend lectures and meet other students on your course.

To enrol onto your degree, you will need:
  • 5 GCSE at Grade 4 or above including Maths and English
  • 2 A-Levels or equivalent Level 3 qualifications (T‑Level, BTEC National Certificate / Diploma / Extended Diploma Or Advanced Diploma)
  • Other Level 3 BTEC qualifications may also be considered

If you already hold a degree (or equivalent) related to this programme, then you will not be eligible for this apprenticeship due to funding regulations.

To apply as a mature student, you will need at least 5 years' experience in a related career.
