Overview

We are currently seeking a Commercial Vehicle Breakdown Technician on behalf of our Client, an Automotive Independent Commercial Vehicle Specialist based in the Reading area.

You can expect a salary of up to £40,885 with OTE of circa £55,000. This role is ideal for experienced HGV Technicians with a strong background in maintenance, servicing, and breakdown repairs, looking for flexibility and progression opportunities - NOT A Mobile Mechanic Role.

Duties
  • Respond to breakdown callouts and carry out roadside repairs
  • Diagnose and repair faults on HGVs, lorries, and vans
  • Completion of Job Sheets and Documentation
  • Advise service receptionists regarding required repairs and time estimates
Vehicle Inspection Requirements
  • Previous working experience within a HGV Technician or LCV Technician role
  • Fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 or time-served
  • Excellent mechanical knowledge
  • Full UK Driving Licence (HGV Licence preferred)

Hours of work for this Commercial Vehicle Breakdown Technician job are 8am - 5pm.
