Role Overview
  1. This leading regional law firm seeks a Commercial Litigation Solicitor to actively develop the commercial litigation department. Your contribution will influence your success.
  2. The firm is busy and aims to hire a junior but highly skilled Commercial Litigator.
  3. The caseload includes shareholder disputes, contentious probate, building disputes, professional negligence disputes, and partnership disputes.
  4. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with the partner, ideal for someone ambitious and eager to progress.
  5. The successful candidate should have a genuine passion for Commercial Litigation and some working knowledge of its aspects.
  6. Ideally, candidates will have experience in a leading national or regional law firm seeking a career change.
  7. You should have handled a varied caseload and possess a strong network within the regional market.
  8. Business development and local marketing are essential skills.
  9. Proven experience in the full litigation process, advising UK and international clients, is preferred.
  10. The role involves all litigation stages, including disclosure, case management, drafting witness statements, and trial attendance, as well as settlement negotiations, arbitration, and mediation.
