Job description

This is a great opportunity to join a highly respected and fiercely independent commercial insurance brokerage with a head office in the West Yorkshire area. Established over 100 years ago, they have built theirreputation on their commitment to provide their clients with an exceptional level of service. Currently working on a 3 days in the office, 2 days from home basis (optional) and providing a very generous benefits package.

This role sits within their quality claims team, dealing with a wide variety of claims across the group, not just as an administrative service, but providing a “hands on” approach, working closely with clients to resolve claims efficiently, effectively and as favourably as possible. This would involve taking ownership of claims, liaising with all parties, interpreting policy wording and challenging insurers where necessary.

Although this role involves dealing with a wide range of claims, there would be a bias towards motor fleet, so this role could appeal to individuals who enjoy motor / motor fleet claimsor perhaps you wish to diversify into all areas of claims, which is anticipated to happen quite quickly.

Ideally, we would like to hear from applicants from a broker background, although also happy to hear those of you with an insurer or loss adjuster background.

This role comes with an excellent salary ranging from £30k to £40k plus a generous and comprehensive benefits package. Previous use of Acturis would be beneficial and CII qualifications will be fully supported.
