About the Role
As a core member of the Commercial Sales Team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing commercial clients, delivering high levels of customer service, and driving new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Management – Manage, service, and grow an existing commercial book of business
  • Sales Development – Identify opportunities, negotiate, and sell commercial insurance products within authority
  • Customer Service – Meet SLAs and provide consistent, high-quality service
  • Business Growth – Support retention and new business development efforts, hitting agreed targets
  • Networking – Attend relevant events to expand visibility and business opportunities
  • Ad-hoc Support – Undertake additional duties as required to support team objectives

Must-Haves

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven knowledge of Commercial Combined, Commercial Property Owners, SME, Professional Indemnity, and Directors & Officers (D&O) insurance
  • Demonstrated sales success and ability to meet performance targets
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and remain calm under pressure
  • Cert CII qualified or committed to achieving within a defined timeframe

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience representing a company at industry or networking events
  • Comfort with insurance platforms and CRM systems
  • A forward-thinking, proactive mindset for identifying service or sales improvements
