An exciting substantive opportunity has arisen for an exceptional individual to join the Acute Care Division as Clinical Educator for the Acute Medical Unit (AMU). This is a rewarding and challenging role that will lead on the educational and recruitment requirements of the nursing workforce on AMU. As the Clinical Nurse Educator you will assist with staff development and contribute to developing and progressing staff, recruitment and retention and internal teaching programmes. The post holder will contribute to achieving the objectives of the AMU Key Performance Indicators and speciality corporate objectives while working within the clinical governance framework. The aim of the role is to maintain an effective educational environment through coaching and staff development within the AAU; thus enabling the delivery of high quality and effective urgent care and improving patient experience. The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a clinical setting in a large healthcare organisation with a passion for developing a highly skilled nursing workforce.
