Job description

Due to significant business wins our client is now seeking to recruit an ACCA/ACA Accountant to join the firm as a Senior Accountant OR Client Manager.

The firm also offers some outstanding career development opportunities and offers access to interesting / complex clients within a very caring and supportive environment.

The Role

  • financial statements and tax computations for clients
  • Providing strategic consultancy and financial management services
  • Supervise a team of Accountants on the portfolio of all clients.
  • Manage the Tax, VAT and payroll departments to ensure timeframes and HMRC deadlines are being adhered to, along with the personal management of the relevant members of staff.
  • Manage and develop the practice's use of Social Media for advertising and new client development.

This is a strong relationship management role, with you working directly with the director to ensure the best client care and the smooth operation of the general office. For the right candidate, this role could lead to being invited to join the directorship in time.

It is essential that you have had an existing career in practice and will ideally be ACCA or ACA qualified, however applicants who are qualified by experience may also be considered.
