Overview

Do you have experience working within a cleanroom environment? Do you have experience operating machinery, carrying out assembly and adhering to company standards? If so, this Cleanroom Technician position is perfect for you!

The Cleanroom Technician role is working for a manufacturer in the Andover area. The role is Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 5pm, with an early finish of 3:30pm on a Friday. The role is permanent and is paying up to £28,228 depending on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Operate, set up and safely shut down cleanroom manufacturing equipment.
  • Assemble microelectronic components according to specifications, ensuring careful handling to prevent damage.
  • Monitor product quality and manufacturing processes to maintain high standards and keep accurate production records in line with quality systems.
  • Identify and report any process or product issues, taking corrective action where necessary.
  • Support routine equipment maintenance with the maintenance team and assist with process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste and enhance quality.
  • Manage production stock, including checking kits, inspecting customer parts and controlling consumables.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Previous experience working within a cleanroom environment
  • Previous Electrical/Electronics experience is desirable
  • Experience operating machinery, using hand tools or operating microscopes is beneficial
  • A keen eye for detail
  • The ability to work and adhere to work instructions and guidelines
