Overview

Gap Personnel who operate as an employment business are recruiting for a cleaner in Newcastle-under-Lyme, ST5.

Pay: £12.21 per hour.

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 07:00-09:30.

Position: Temporary role.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and sanitation duties safely and effectively.
• Waste management — emptying bins and removal of waste from communal areas to segregate recycling.
• Supply management — safe storage of cleaning products, equipment and restocking products/toiletries.
• Surface & floor cleaning — dusting, cleaning windows, polishing and vacuuming, sweeping and cleaning various areas.

Skills and Qualifications

• Good knowledge and experience in the safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Adhering to Health and Safety regulations such as COSHH.
• Using personal protective equipment (PPE) performing risk assessment and a strong knowledge of safe work practices, such as manual handling and preventing slips, trips and falls.
