If you have a passion for enhancing operational efficiency and customer satisfaction, we’d love to hear from you!

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.

We’re also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.

What you’ll be doing
  • Support the Head of Claims Performance in leading the development and delivery of the claims cost management strategy across all business functions.
  • Work as part of the leadership team to identify new opportunities to expand our claims reduction programme whilst improving the customer experience and clinical outcomes.
  • Manage claims performance reporting for AXA Health through spotting trends, risks and opportunities to foster a more data driven decision making culture
  • Deliver successful implementations of claims improvement initiatives, monitor ongoing performance and adjust strategies as needed to help shape and drive positive change for our customers, employees and our business.
  • Provide oversight and support of system improvements and collaborate with colleagues to build better tools and processes for future claims management.
  • Create a personal plan for continued learning and development to position yourself as a claims and healthcare subject matter expert.
  • Support regulatory compliance of Care & Claims Transformation initiatives, referring any concerns to risk management and Head of Claims Performance.
  • Indirectly manage and co-ordinate across multiple areas, ensuring collaboration and alignment with department goals whilst supporting team performance and development.
  • Coach team members and support engagement across the department to create a sense of ownership and empowerment, helping everyone perform to their best ability.

What you’ll bring
  • Previous experience in an insurance or financial services background.
  • An understanding of Claims processes and systems.
  • Knowledge/experience in the healthcare sector advantageous.
  • Relevant experience in managing and input to large multi-disciplined programmes, with a focus on delivering cost improvements.
  • Effective relationship and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Business subject matter expert with a strong desire to broaden expertise across the wider healthcare sector.
  • Strong strategic thinking and decision-making skills.

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
