Job summary

A well-established solar client in the Leeds area is seeking a Civil Site Supervisor for a large-scale ground mount solar farm project. The role involves supervising civil works, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and maintaining site records. Applicants must have relevant supervisory experience and certifications like SSSTS and First Aid. This is a contract position lasting around 10 months.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate all civil works including earthworks, access roads, drainage.

  • Conduct site inspections for compliance with standards.
  • Maintain accurate site records including progress reports.
  • Enforce health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Resolve on-site issues and escalate when necessary.

A well-established solar client are looking for a Civil Site Supervisor for their large-scale ground mount solar farm project in the Leeds area to start ASAP.

This will be a contract based role lasting around 10 months and you MUST have previous experience of working on a large-scale ground mount solar farm.

Key responsibilities include :
  • Supervise and coordinate all civil works including earthworks, access roads, drainage, foundations, and trenching.
  • Monitor daily site operations and ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to specification.
  • Liaise with project engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of materials.
  • Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with design and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain accurate site records including progress reports, risk assessments, and permits.
  • Enforce health, safety, and environmental policies on site.
  • Resolve on-site issues and elevate where necessary to the project management team.
