Overview

My client, a specialist UK based Civil Engineering Consultancy which specialises in Geotechnical and Civil Engineering, is searching for a Civil Engineering Technician who can use Civils 3D and AutoCAD to join their team in Leeds.

It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in a relevant discipline including a HNC/HND or BSc in Civil Engineering and ideally have experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing civil and infrastructure designs using AutoCAD or Civils 3D. It is beneficial for applicants to live locally as they will be required to work from the office on a hybrid basis. This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join a team of experienced Engineers to work on residential, commercial and industrial projects for private and public sector clients.

Responsibilities

• Use Civils 3D and AutoCAD to design sewerage and pipeline schemes.
• Complete 2D and 3D design models and drawings for drainage and road designs for residential developments.
• Develop design layouts, RC details, sections, site plans and civil detailing using AutoCAD and Civils 3D.
• Engage in earthworks and level design.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Strong academic background in a relevant discipline, including a HNC/HND or BSc in Civil Engineering.
• Experience with UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing civil and infrastructure designs using AutoCAD or Civils 3D (preferred).
• Willingness to work from the office on a hybrid basis and to live locally.
