Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Citrix Engineer to design, implement, manage, and support our Citrix environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD), Citrix Cloud, and supporting technologies such as Active Directory, Azure, and FSLogix. You will play a key role in ensuring that users have a seamless, secure, and performant virtual desktop and application experience, while continuously improving and optimizing the Citrix platform to meet business needs.

Roles Primary Responsibilities
  • Design, deploy, and maintain Citrix environments, including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix Cloud, Citrix ADC (NetScaler), and Citrix StoreFront.
  • Administer and optimize Citrix environments for performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Manage user profiles and policies with Citrix Workspace Environment Management (WEM) and FSLogix.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Citrix infrastructure using Citrix Director, Citrix Studio, and other diagnostic tools.
  • Implement and maintain security controls, including MFA, SSL certificates, and access policies.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure teams (network, storage, cloud, and security) to ensure seamless integration and performance.
  • Automate routine tasks using PowerShell or other scripting tools.
  • Plan and execute upgrades, patches, and migrations (on‑premises to Citrix Cloud or hybrid deployments).
  • Document system configurations, standard procedures, and technical designs.
  • Stay up to date with Citrix product updates, best practices, and new features.
Desirable Skills
  • 3–5+ years of experience in Citrix engineering and administration
  • Strong understanding of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD), Citrix Cloud, and Citrix ADC (NetScaler)
  • Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), and Windows 10/11 multi‑session
  • Familiarity with FSLogix, WEM and profile management
  • Proficiency with PowerShell scripting and automationExperience troubleshooting complex end‑user computing environments
  • Citrix certifications (e.g., CCA‑V, CCP‑V, CCE‑V)
  • Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), Azure, and M365 integration
  • Knowledge of VDI performance monitoring and capacity planning tools
  • Exposure to Zero Trust, security hardening, and multi‑factor authentication in Citrix environments
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and change management practices
