Overview

Child Care Worker - Education. SEND School based in Peckham. Full-time.

We are looking for Child Care Workers who are dedicated and passionate about supporting children in a school-based environment. Our school, which is based in Peckham, caters for children and young adults from 5-18 years old with varied SEND needs such as Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties, Severe Learning Difficulties and Speech and Language Communication Difficulties.

Responsibilities
  • Experience supporting young adults with learning difficulties and disabilities
  • Experience or willingness to assist with personal care
  • Experience with PEG feeding/tube feeding
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively
  • A valid DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new DBS
  • Available 5 days a week and able to commit to at least 1-6 months
