Job description

HW Interim Solutions are partnering with a Private-Equity backed Manufacturer to engage an Interim Chief Commercial Officer for an initial period of 6 months.

The business requires an experienced interim commercial leader to bring immediate rigor to pipeline management, clarify market focus, and partner closely with the CEO on strategy and execution.

Key responsibilities
  • Set and own the end-to-end commercial strategy, elevating pipeline reporting, segmentation and methodology to deliver clear, actionable insight for the CEO, Board and wider leadership team.
  • Lead strategic market segmentation and prioritisation across Education, Healthcare and other core markets, with accountability for directing and assuring work delivered by third-party sector specialists.
  • Partner with the CEO to shape and deliver a major strategic refocusing of the business, contributing to the evolution of the operating and commercial model to support long-term growth.
  • Develop new routes to market and growth channels, including strategic partnerships, alliances and alternative commercial models to broaden market access and accelerate growth.
Experience
  • Proven experience operating at CCO / Commercial Director / Executive leadership level - ideally through periods of strategic change or business transformation.
  • Track record of strategic refocusing, including redefining markets, propositions, channels or operating models.
  • Strong capability in building and leading commercial teams, with experience creating high-impact second-tier leadership structures.
  • Demonstrated success in driving customer-centric transformation and aligning culture with commercial strategy.
