Overview

Chartered Senior Planner - Gatwick Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a respected planning consultancy in their search for a Chartered Senior Planner to join their Gatwick office. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced planner to play a key role in delivering a wide range of planning projects across the South East.

The Role

As a Chartered Senior Planner, you will be working on an exciting variety of projects spanning residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. You\'ll take ownership of client relationships, manage planning applications, and provide expert planning advice to a diverse portfolio of clients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing, submitting, and managing complex planning applications and appeals.
  • Advising clients on planning strategy and policy.
  • Leading on projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
  • Managing stakeholder engagement, including local authorities, developers, and community groups.
  • Mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to the growth of the Gatwick team.
About You

The successful candidate will bring:

  • MRTPI Chartered Membership (essential).
  • 4-6 years\' experience within planning consultancy or a local authority setting.
  • Strong track record in managing and delivering planning projects.
