A prominent healthcare provider in England is seeking a specialist to provide care within the Community Eating Disorders Service for young people and their families. Candidates should have experience in working with eating disorders and delivering evidence-based interventions in a multi-disciplinary context. Strong clinical and communication skills are essential for this role.
This post holder will provide a specialist service within Community Eating Disorders Service, CAMHS to young people and their families. This is a community-based post, located within the countywide
Community Eating Disorders Service (CEDS) Bedfordshire and Luton CAMHS offering face-to-face assessments (urgent and routine) in clinic or within the acute hospital setting, telephone triage, and episodes of treatment and risk management of all eating disorder presentations and co-morbidities.
To provide care to children and families affected by eating disorders, as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
To provide effective leadership, expertise, advice and support to the service and ensure the provision of high quality care to children and families
To act as a role model and highly competent practitioner
To act as a designated resource to children and families, and other professionals caring for them
To facilitate the development of the eating disorders service, as part of a multidisciplinary team
To promote an innovative and progressive attitude to the continual improvement of patient care through research and evidence based practice
