About the Role

Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Catering Assistant to join our team working at Government Offices Great George Street (GOGGS).

Eligibility & background

To be eligible for this role, you must have been a UK resident for the past 3 years and have a legal right to work in the UK. You must also be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.

  • This is a part‑time position, 16 hours per week. Shifts range between Monday and Thursday from 11am to 3pm, leaving your evenings free.

A day in the life of a Catering Assistant
  • Basic food preparation including sandwiches, grab‑and‑go items, and basic hot food if required.
  • Serving customers and operating the till, providing opportunities for upselling products, and ensuring excellent customer service at all times.
  • Stocking up and putting away deliveries.
  • General cleaning of the back and front of house, making sure the unit is clean and tidy before, during, and after service.
Qualifications & requirements
  • Must be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
  • Previous catering experience is desirable, however full training will be given on site.
  • UK residency and right to work in the UK for at least 3 years.
