Casual Employability & Skills Tutor (25/177)

£22.09 per hour + £3.64 holiday pay

Hours are variable

Location: National Employer Training, Nottingham

Please note that this is not a permanent position. The hours are on an as and when basis.

National Employer Training (NET) is part of the TEC Partnership, which is a large, innovative, dynamic and financially sound organisation.

About the role

National Employer Training are now looking to recruit a Casual Employability & Skills Tutor to support its continued growth and future plans. The successful candidate will be joining an established and supportive team. Our tutors are highly trained specialists who support unemployed learners into work through providing tailored support and guidance. They cover several topics across a number of occupational areas. Please note that this is a regional role and travel across sites is required.

Responsibilities
  • High quality delivery of employment related subjects
  • Strong communication ensuring learners understand key messages
  • Be inspirational and supportive to all learners
  • Track learner progress and support where needed
  • Mark and assess learners work in a timely manner
  • Provide constructive feedback to learners at all times
About the person / Qualifications

Candidates should have a recognised teaching qualification (Level 3 or above, or working towards) alongside Maths and English qualifications at level 2 (GCSE C/4).

Experience in education, training, or employability delivery and strong coaching, mentoring, and communication skills are also essential for this role.
