Overview

Join a fast-growing fire door specialist company making a real impact in safety across health sites, residential, and commercial buildings. We're on the look out for a skilled and reliable carpenter to help deliver high-quality fire door installations and remedial works across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, and London.

What we are looking for
  • Carpentry qualifications (NVQ or equivalent)
  • Experience working with fire doors (essential)
  • CSCS card - essential
  • Bonus - Fire stopping experience
Responsibilities
  • Install fire doors in accordance with relevant fire safety regulations and standards, ensuring proper fitting, alignment, and functionality.
  • Carry out repairs and maintenance work on fire doors, including replacing damaged components, adjusting closers, and addressing issues with hinges, seals, or glazing.
  • Install and test fire-rated hardware, such as panic bars, hinges, latches, and locks, ensuring they meet fire safety requirements.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of fire door installations and repairs.
  • Stay updated on the latest fire safety regulations and industry trends related to fire doors, attending training sessions or workshops as necessary.
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols, following proper procedures to ensure personal safety and that of others on the job site.
Role Summary
