Weekend hours available for experienced carers with weekly pay!

You will be covering day shifts at a care home in the Matlock area which caters for the needs of up to 32 adult residents with a variety of health conditions including learning disabilities, dementia, sensory impairments etc.

The home prides itself on the care that it provides to the residents, and we are looking for people who have a outgoing and bubbly personality with the ability to communicate clearly with both residents and other staff.

Working as a Care Assistant, you will be following personalised care plans, conduct personal care, take part in activities, assist with the moving and handling of the residents as well as other care related duties.

To be suitable for this position you must have:

  • An existing DBS certificate registered on the update service
  • A Referenceable work history
  • At least 2 years experience within a similar setting

Please note that you must be able to reliably commute to Matlock either via public transport or with your own transport arrangements.

If you do not have a valid training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!

This role offers immediate start opportunities with ongoing work. Typical hours include:

  • 07:00 to 14:15
  • 14:00 to 22:00
  • 07:00 to 22:00
  • 22:00 to 07:00

With hours available on Saturdays and Sundays. The rate of pay is:

  • Days - £12.21 per hour rising to £13.33 per hour after 13 weeks
  • Nights - £16.24 per hour rising to £17.64 per hour after 13 weeks
