Job Title: Care Assistant - Days
Salary: £13.10ph plus incentives
Hours: Full Time - 7am-7pm, 3-4 shifts per week (to include alternate weekends)
Location: Sleaford, NG34 9PL

Note: Team Members under 21 will be paid £1.00 per hour less, which is above National Minimum Wage guidelines for this age group
A little about St Andrew's Nursing and Care Home
St Andrew’s is located in the village of Ewerby (5 miles east of Sleaford). The home is set around a historic vicarage, extended to provide modern living while maintaining character. The home provides personal care, including nursing and dementia care, for 42 residents.

Day to Day Responsibilities for Care Assistant
- Provide high levels of care, supporting residents with daily living, including personal care such as washing, dressing and eating
- Promote residents’ independence with a focus on choice, dignity and respect, and support physical and emotional wellbeing
- Complete Daily Charts to a high standard, aiming for 90%+ in monthly audits
- Maintain 100% current status with mandatory training throughout the year
Essential Requirements for Care Assistant
- Willing to study towards a Level 2 Health & Social Care qualification
- A good reason or experience that has drawn them to care
- Live within 30 minutes of the Home
Preferred Requirements for Care Assistant
- One year's experience in a residential or nursing home
- Level 2 Health & Social Care or above
