Overview

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care in line with individual's Support plans.
• Support mobility and transfers safely, using appropriate equipment where required.
• Promote independence, dignity and choice.
• Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering meaningful relationships with residents.
• Encourage engagement in recreational and social activities to enhance resident's wellbeing.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary needs and preferences are met.
• Follow health and safety principles and risk assessments.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the wider care team.
• Document care provided and report any changes in resident's health or wellbeing to senior staff.

Requirements

• UK Care experience
• Valid Right to Work in the UK
• CV covering 10 years work history
• PVG Update required through ASA
• Registration with the SSSC
• Compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine desire to help others
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Reliable and responsible with a strong work ethic
