Overview

Car Sales Executive – Edinburgh

Salary: £27,000 – £30,000 with uncapped commission and company car. Average earnings reported as £49k OTE.

Role offers a rota with 2 weekends off a month and a generous package including a lower target for the first 3 months to help you establish your earnings. We have multiple Car Sales Executive roles working with dedicated showrooms and preferred manufacturers, including some premium brands.

What we are looking for

Experience in selling new or used vehicles is preferred. If not, transferable sales experience from fields such as Mobile Phones, Furniture, or Carpets is acceptable as some top performers have come from these backgrounds. You should be self-motivated and money-driven.

Duties

• Meeting and greeting potential customers with a steady footfall to the dealership
• Contacting potential customers or previous customers to arrange appointments
• Using a consultative sales approach to identify the right car to meet the customer’s needs
• Arranging test drives
• Opportunity to earn additional bonuses when cross-selling services such as service plans, minor damage protection plans, etc.

Experience / Qualifications

• Car sales experience OR experience in transferable sales roles (e.g., Mobile Phones, Furniture, Carpet sales)
• Self-motivated and money-driven
