A leading mental health service provider in Rochdale is looking for a qualified professional to join their CAMHS team. The role involves assessing and treating young people and families within a multi-disciplinary team, conducting comprehensive assessments, and formulating effective treatment plans. Ideal candidates will have robust assessment skills and experience working autonomously. The successful candidate will need the ability to work autonomously within the context of a multi-disciplinary team approach and undertake specific work with young people and their families. Excellent assessment skills and the ability to formulate clinical decisions and management plans are essential, including assessment and management of risk.
This is a busy multi-disciplinary CAMHS team which includes nurses, psychologists, social workers and psychiatrists. You will have the benefit of being co-located with partner services for children and families. A key focus of the service leadership team will be implementing transformation to ensure timely access to high quality care. The Local Transformation Plan for CAMHS services guides resources to begin delivering the vision of having CAMHS workers available in new ways and working closely with children’s universal and targeted services in each locality area.
