We have an excellent opportunity for a CAD Technician to join our client’s highly experienced team in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.

About the role

As a CAD Technician your responsibilities will include:



  • Producing Fire Sprinkler System Installation drawings.

  • General office and admin duties

  • Liaising with clients and staff to ensure drawing information is correct.

  • Working towards undertaking site survey’s and attending site / client meetings


About the person

The ideal candidate for the position of CAD Technician must be / have:



  • A self-motivated individual with ability to work under own initiative or as part of a small team.

  • Working knowledge of using AutoCad 2D software

  • Workplace experience in Building or Mechanical Services (preferable)

  • Computer literate and conversant with Microsoft applications; Word, Excel, Outlook and Access

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Flexible working approach

  • Full clean driving licence


Salary and rewards
