Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy is seeking a CAD Technician for a project with the London Underground. The role involves producing high-standard engineering drawings from site surveys, with a focus on accuracy and detail. Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D is essential, along with MEP or Electrical experience. This position offers a hybrid working model.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with AutoCAD 2D is essential.
• Experience with MEP or Electrical systems.
• Experience in rail projects is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Produce high standard engineering drawings of existing rooms and services.
• Create feasibility designs detailing installation and modifications.
• Ensure drawings are accurate and detailed.

Overview

CAD Technician | 6 Months | Hybrid | Outside IR35

I am currently on the lookout for a CAD Technician to join one of our clients working on a London Underground project.

Responsibilities

• Producing high standard engineering drawings of existing rooms and services from site survey information. These drawings are 'feasibility designs' which will also detail new installation and modification works within these existing locations.
• Drawings produced will be plans and elevations of rooms with a strong level of accuracy and detail.

Experience / Qualifications

• AutoCAD 2D, proficiency with this software essential
• MEP or Electrical experience required. Keen to speak to those with rail experience
• Hybrid role with option for remote working in the future
