Salary: BG7: £26,824 - £28,142 pro-rata

Contract type: Fixed Term for 12 months

Basis: Part time 22.5 hours per week

Working pattern: Monday - Wednesday - Friday, 09:00 – 17:00

Employer: Bristol City Council – Day service provision for vulnerable adults with a range of disabilities and needs (including dementia, learning disabilities, autism, and physical or sensory impairments)

Responsibilities
  • You will provide support to managers and the wider team to ensure the smooth running of the service.
  • Finance: Procurement of goods/services – responsible for processing and ordering goods and services, including raising orders and processing invoices. You will need to administer and balance the Amenity account.
  • Building Issues: Reporting and co-ordinating building repairs, liaising with internal and external contractors.
  • ICT Skills: Excellent word processing, Excel and ICT skills, including previous experience of using a database to record information.
  • You will also need to be able to take minutes at meetings as required.
Requirements

Please note that this role is subject to an Enhanced DBS Check.

For employees currently on a fixed term contract, the secondment must not extend beyond the end of the fixed term period to ensure there is a substantive post to return to.
