Job description

Butler Rose is working alongside our large Facilities Management client based in London who are looking for a highly skilled and detail-focused Business Process Visualisation Specialist (MS Visio Expert) to support their business process documentation activities. This will be a three month temporary basis, with hybrid working and paying up to £200 per day.

The successful candidate will be responsible for rapidly producing clear, accurate, and professional Microsoft Visio process maps to document current-state ('As-Is') and future-state ('To-Be') business processes. This role will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation and will contribute to structured workshops as well as ad-hoc documentation requests.

Main Duties
  • Design and develop high-quality Microsoft Visio process visualisations, ensuring consistency, clarity, and alignment with business standards
  • Document and maintain As-Is and To-Be process maps across multiple business functions
  • Support process discovery and mapping during workshops, capturing workflows in real time where required
  • Translate workshop outputs, SME input, and operational knowledge into structured, comprehensive process documentation
  • Revise and update process maps based on stakeholder feedback and evolving requirements
  • Maintain well-organised repositories of visual artefacts and related documentation
  • Present process maps and documentation clearly and professionally to internal stakeholders
  • Provide ad-hoc Visio support for business teams when required
Skills and Experience
  • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Visio, including advanced flowcharting and diagramming capabilities
  • Proven experience producing business process visualisations in complex environments
  • Ability to work at pace while maintaining strong attention to detail and quality
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage with SMEs and business leads
  • Demonstrated ability to capture processes rapidly and accurately during live sessions
  • Organised, self-directed, and responsive to changing priorities
  • Finance process background or exposure (highly desirable)
  • Experience working within transformation, process improvement, or finance change programmes (advantageous)
