Job description
Your Role

As a Bartender, you’ll balance creating memorable guest experiences with delivering premium products and supporting profitability. You’ll primarily work in the Hotel and Conference & Events bars, responsible for setup, service, and closedown, serving both food and drinks. You’ll work closely with Food & Beverage Assistants and C&E Assistants to ensure smooth service, following Apex Brand Standards.

You’ll have a passion for drinks and enjoy creating unique, storytelling cocktails that guests will want to share. Whilst based at a home location, you may occasionally support other departments or sister properties across England.

Reporting Structure:
  • Reports to the Restaurant and Bars Manager, Assistant R&B Manager or Supervisor in their absence
Key responsibilities include:
  • Preparing and serving drinks (cocktails, coffee, alcoholic and non-alcoholic)
  • Providing table service and maintaining high presentation standards
  • Creating a welcoming atmosphere and recommending drinks to guests
  • Maintaining cleanliness and restocking supplies
  • Supporting smooth coordination between bar and kitchen
  • Recording orders, payments, wastage, and refusals of alcohol
  • Assisting with deliveries and cellar management
