Job summary

A public healthcare provider in Birmingham is seeking an experienced TB Nurse to manage and control tuberculosis in prison settings. You will work collaboratively with prison healthcare teams and UKHSA to implement TB control measures. Candidates must have experience working with disadvantaged communities and be flexible in responding to alerts as they arise. This role is pivotal in supporting underserved populations.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing and controlling TB in healthcare settings, preferably within prison or underserved communities.
  • Ability to respond to prison alerts immediately or at short notice.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and control TB in the prison in collaboration with healthcare teams.

A unique opportunity has risen, for an experienced TB Nurse, to take on the role for managing and controlling TB in the prison and working in collaboration with the prison healthcare teams and UKHSA.

The specified person must have experience with working with disadvantaged communities (underserved populations).

Must be flexible and be able to attend to prison alerts as and when required (immediately, at short notice).
