Rate: £19 - £21 per hour

Working hours: Monday – Friday, 09:00am – 17:00pm

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Band 5 Pharmacy Technician to join our client’s team in Doncaster. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing essential pharmaceutical services to our community. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy team and ensuring the safe and effective delivery of medications.

Responsibilities
  • Preparing and dispensing medications
  • Managing stock levels
  • Maintaining accurate records
  • Working closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals
  • Providing advice on medication usage
  • Assisting in training junior staff
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines
  • Involvement in aseptic preparation and ACT duties to ensure medication safety and accuracy
Qualifications and Experience
  • NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent
  • Registration with the GPHC
  • Experience in hospital or community pharmacy setting
  • Experience with aseptic techniques and ACT duties
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and commitment to high standards of patient care
