A leading NHS hospital is seeking Health Care Assistants for its Ophthalmic Team in Liverpool. The role involves essential duties such as Visual Acuity assessments and intra-ocular pressure measurements. Candidates should have experience in a hospital environment, preferably at NVQ level 2, and demonstrate a commitment to high standards of patient care. We have various hours for Band 3 Health Care Assistants within our Ophthalmic Team, which includes Ophthalmic Outpatients, A&E and Pre‑op Assessment Service. We are looking for enthusiastic, friendly, flexible and reliable individuals who can use initiative. This demanding role requires experience of working in a hospital setting, Band 2, and readiness to handle a fast‑paced patient flow.
Contribute to maintaining an effective patient flow by carrying out the above assessments efficiently and safely for a high volume of patients. Participate in and understand the specialist care required for our ophthalmic patients.
