Job description

We’re looking for an experienced Baker to join Ottolenghi’s Central Production Unit and take a leading role in creating our high-quality baked goods. This is a hands-on position where you’ll manage production, mentor junior bakers, and help maintain the efficiency and excellence of our bakery.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead the preparation and baking of a wide range of bakery products
  • Ensure all products meet Ottolenghi’s recipes and quality standards
  • Monitor baking processes, including mixing, proofing, baking, and cooling
  • Conduct quality checks on ingredients and finished products
  • Supervise, train, and mentor junior bakers and bakery assistants
  • Assign tasks, oversee daily operations, and provide feedback to the team
  • Manage inventory, coordinate ingredient orders, and minimise waste
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised workspace

What we’re looking for:

Working hours:
