Overview

AWS Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer — Location: Manchester but predominantly remote. Duration: Contract to end of March 2026.

Inside IR35 - Rate up to £475 per day.

Our public sector client are looking for an AWS Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer for a 6 month contract. You will design and implement robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure solutions across AWS and Azure cloud environments, as well as hybrid on-premises platforms (Windows/Linux, VMware).

You will work openly and collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team, including third party service providers, to provide expertise and develop architectural solutions.

This role will be instrumental in driving their technology strategy ensuring their systems are resilient, efficient, and ready for the future.

Responsibilities
  • Design, implement and operate robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure solutions across AWS, Azure, and hybrid on-premises platforms (Windows/Linux, VMware).
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team and third party providers to develop architectural solutions.
  • Drive technology strategy to ensure systems are resilient and efficient.

Candidates will be predominantly remote, with 1-2 days per month visit to the Manchester office.
