TPF Recruitment, Kent's leading accountancy practice recruitment agency is excited to be partnering with a leading Top 15 firm of chartered accountants to recruit an experienced Audit Manager into their Maidstone office.

Currently undergoing a period of growth, they are seeking a skilled auditor to step into this pivotal role, with clear opportunities for career progression as part of their succession planning.

This position is perfect for a qualified and detail-driven audit professional who thrives in a structured, high-performing environment and is ready to advance their career within a large and reputable firm. The business has fantastic modern offices, a strong staff retention rate and they can offer exposure to some incredible business including owner managed businesses through to AIM and FTST listed multinationals.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to progress to Senior Manager a Director in the future too.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead audit assignments across a diverse portfolio of corporate entities, including OMB and listed businesses.
• Manage audits from planning through to completion, ensuring all work meets the firm's rigorous quality standards and aligns with client expectations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during fieldwork, offering guidance and resolving complex issues.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and professional growth.
• Review statutory financial statements and conduct technical research when required.
• Collaborate with partners to identify additional client needs and explore opportunities for advisory services.

Requirements

• ACA/ ACCA qualified or nearly qualified
