Job summary

A leading charity organization in Greater London is looking for an Associate Director of Finance on a full-time basis. You will manage the finance functions, ensure compliance with regulations, and provide leadership to the Finance Team. The ideal candidate will have significant finance experience within the charity sector and be fully qualified in ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CIFA. This role offers a hybrid working model with 2-3 days in the London office and a commitment to equitable recruitment practices.

Qualifications

• Significant demonstrable experience in finance within the charity sector, in a similar role.
• Good knowledge of UK GAAP and UK tax law and regulations.
• Experience of developing and implementing new financial procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage the finance function and ensure compliance with internal procedures and accounting standards.
• Plan and monitor departmental budgets and support budget-holders in their planning.
• Provide strong line management to the Finance Team, IT Manager and Executive Officer.

Skills

Experience in finance within the charity sector

Excellent communication skills

Education

ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIFA fully qualified
