Job summary

A consultancy agency is seeking an Assistant Team Manager for Child Protection in Oxford. The role requires significant experience in mentoring staff within children’s social care, leading outcome-focused interventions, and managing service delivery. The successful candidate will foster a culture of continuous improvement and possesses strong financial management skills. This is an initial 3-month contract with a pay rate of £42.00 per hour inside IR35, with the potential for extension.

Experience Needed

Your experience needed as the Assistant Team Manager – Child Protection, Children’s Social Care :

  • Experience of mentoring or managing staff within a statutory or voluntary organisation with children and young people; and offering leadership within that setting.
  • Experience of outcome focused interventions. Experience of prioritisation, care planning and service delivery.
  • Experience of contributing to a culture of continuous improvement. Experience of leading and embedding a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Understanding of financial and resource management. Experience of partnership working, consultation, engagement, and participation. Experience of service improvement at a management level.
