Job description

GVR Solutions are working with a well-established drylining contractor delivering high-quality interior and partitioning solutions across a range of commercial fit out projects. They are seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support the Commercial Lead on two live projects.

The successful candidate will assist in all aspects of cost management and commercial administration, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and within budget. This role provides an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual to develop their commercial expertise within a specialist subcontracting environment.

Responsibilities of the Assistant Quantity Surveyor
  • Assist with cost planning, measurement, and valuation processes.
  • Support the Commercial Lead with subcontractor procurement and account management.
  • Prepare and maintain commercial reports, forecasts, and cashflow projections.
  • Assist in the preparation and agreement of interim valuations and final accounts.
  • Liaise with project management and site teams to ensure accurate cost reporting and progress tracking.
  • Maintain records and documentation in line with company procedures and project requirements.
