Job Description
The role of the Assistant Product Manager is to effectively plan delivery and communication of relevant product range launch. The Assistant PM reports directly to the Category Merchandise Manger
Responsibilities
- Manage the seasonal line plan. Work with the IBD and Boston \'47 team and utilise Airtable to establish product detail and costing and ensure that product is priced according to the structure and US pricing.
- Work with Operations and Customer Services to ensure that MID\'s are raised for Bulk and SMS. Ensure that all relevant detail is provided for SMS placement.
- Work back with Licensing and the Legal team to ensure that all product is approved for EMEA, working back with Design to ensure any changes are made and resubmitted.
- Attend internal product reviews ensuring that any changes are updated in all relevant documents and communicated out to teams where relevant.
- Prepare tools for sales launches, including the compilation of data for A-Workbook, and product deck build.
- Work closely with the Sales teams on SMU projects to establish the product brief. Manage any changes to brief or calendar between relevant teams ensuring timelines are hit for order placement.
- Manage the SMU life cycle. Work back with the Design and Sourcing teams to ensure that SMU\'s deliver against the brief and margin expectations according to calendar deadlines, are priced correctly and meet margin expectations. Work back with the Sourcing team to establish the project calendar and ensure key dates are met.
- Work back with the Merchandiser to manage injections from the Boston team, providing sales teams with the relevant tools and calendar dates. Manage the process through to order placement.
- Work with the Merchandiser to establish a sell through reporting process, gathering the relevant reports from Sales teams.
- Responsible for entering all seasonal EMEA specific projects into Airtable and tracking the development of these projects with the Design and Sourcing teams.
- Attend Key Account Prelines and other key meetings ensuring all relevant tools are updated.
- Attend weekly calls with the IBD and Boston team to ensure that EMEA has up to date information for the season collection and off calendar launches. Manages any requests from either team.
Knowledge and Experience
- Proactive approach with a ‘can do’ attitude.
- Good working knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages including Excel and PowerPoint.
