A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join Darlington Borough Council as an Assistant Control Centre Manager within the CCTV section of our Community Safety team.
In this pivotal role, you will report directly to the CCTV and Security Control Centre Manager and take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Control Centre operations team.
You will lead a dedicated team of Control Centre Operators and oversee a range of critical systems, including:
Your primary purpose will be to supervise and ensure the efficient operation of the Control Centre, in line with Council procedures. This includes monitoring the Public Space CCTV system as part of our commitment to community safety, managing Lifeline Services, alarm monitoring, out-of-hours contracts, and supporting services such as the Community Safety/ASB contact centre and Feethams Multi-Storey Car Park.
This role requires a Standard DBS check.
